Who Can Play Win Bonanza? Age, State and Account Rules
By Wren Brightstar Who Can Play
Last Updated:

Quick Answers
- You must be at least 18, or the legal adult age that applies to you if it is higher.
- Your home address and your current location must both meet our play rules.
- Use one Win Bonanza account with your real details, and complete the checks we request.
From Wren’s Navigation Notes
A Familiar Beacon in the Fog
During a shelter-mapping exercise, our crew crossed several navigation zones under thick space fog. Through it, I spotted the familiar beacon of our assigned shelter and began turning the craft toward it.
Then a crewmate asked for our current position.
I could identify the beacon perfectly. I could not yet confirm which zone we were in, what conditions lay between us and the shelter, or whether our planned approach remained open.
The beacon was accurate. I had simply asked one signal to answer three different questions. It rightfully declined. Kudos to its calibrator.
Eligibility at Win Bonanza works the same way. Your age, home address, current location, and account details answer separate questions. Meeting one requirement does not replace the others. Here is how to check the full route.
What Does “Eligible” Mean?
Eligible means you meet the rules to take part. At Win Bonanza, you must meet all the rules that apply to you and the offer you choose.
| Check | Ask yourself |
|---|---|
| Age | Am I at least 18, or the legal adult age if it is higher? |
| Home and location | Do I live in an allowed place, and am I in one now? |
| Account | Is this my only account, with my real details? |
| ID and ownership | Can I provide the records we ask for? |
| Other rules | Do my account history, conduct and work or family ties meet the rules? |
A working sign-in or an offer in your account does not mean every check is complete.
How Old Do You Need to Be?
For sweepstakes play, you must be at least 18 at entry. If the legal adult age that applies to you is higher, you must meet that higher age. Our rules call this the “age of majority.” [1]
Use your real birth date and legal name. They must match the records used to check your account. Do not use another person’s ID or account.
Mission Control, our support team, can explain our account rules. If you need to know which age law applies to you, ask a lawyer.
Which States Are Excluded?
Our Terms and Conditions, version 1.3 (October 6, 2026) and Sweepstakes Rules, version 1.2 (June 24, 2026) exclude these 15 states:
| Group | States |
|---|---|
| C–I | California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana |
| L–N | Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York |
| T–W | Tennessee, Washington |
Florida has a special limit for Sweeps Coins (SC): a prize from one SC play has a maximum redemption value of 4,900 SC. See our full U.S. state list. [1]
These are Win Bonanza’s rules. Other sites may use different lists. Our sweepstakes play is not available in Canada.

Check Where You Live and Where You Are
Your home address tells us where you live. We also check where you are when you play. An allowed home address does not let you play during a visit to an excluded state. [2]
| If you… | Then… |
|---|---|
| Visit an excluded state | Do not use sweepstakes play there. |
| Live in an excluded state and travel | Do not assume the trip lets you play. Your home address must meet our rules too. |
| Move home | Ask support to update your account and explain any new checks. |
| See a wrong location block | Use our official help steps. Do not hide your location. |
Do not use a VPN or another tool to change or hide where you are. [2]
Wren’s Field Note
The Crew Moved, the Address Did Not
Before continuing toward the shelter, I placed two records side by side on my Pathframe. One showed the crew’s registered home information. The other showed our current position.
The home records had not changed. Our position had—several times during the exercise. Both readings were correct, but they answered different questions.
After that, I kept them in separate, clearly labeled fields. It was a small adjustment. It prevented a remarkable number of “but the other box is green” conversations.
Use the same distinction here. Your home address must meet the rules, and so must your current location. A valid home address does not override where you are now.
Keep One Account with Current Details
One clear record is easier to follow than two that disagree. Keep one active Win Bonanza account, and keep your legal name, birth date, address, email and phone correct. You should control the email and phone on the account. [2]
If you cannot sign in, or a detail needs to change, ask support to fix the existing account. Do not open a new one. Where our rules require it, accounts and payment methods must be in your own legal name. [2] [5]
Check your profile against your records before an ID review. If they differ, ask us to fix the account details. Never edit a document to make it match.
What Records May We Ask For?
We may check your name, age, address, location or ownership of an account or payment method. These checks are often called KYC, which means “Know Your Customer.”
We may ask for a valid passport, driver’s license or state ID. We may also need a recent record that proves your address. Follow your request for the exact record types and date limits. [1] [4]
If an ID request arrives out of the blue, open Win Bonanza yourself to check it. Send records only through our official process. Never share your password or a one-time code.
Check the Rules After a Change
-
Name the Change
Have you traveled, moved, changed account details, or seen an updated rule?
-
Check the Requirements
Review age, home address, actual location, identity, and account status.
-
Ask About Unclear Details
Check account questions with official support before you take part.
You must meet all the rules that apply to your account and location.
Read the Rules About Work, Family and Past Accounts
Our full rules also cover whether you can enter a binding agreement and certain past account closures. They restrict some people with public roles, called “domestic politically exposed persons,” plus certain family members and close contacts. Read the exact list if this may apply to you. [3]
Section 2.5 covers staff, groups involved in the promotion, and their immediate family or household members. It includes a narrow exception for testing, development or support. Prizes from testing and development cannot be redeemed. [1]
Former staff must wait three years after their work ends before taking part. False details, extra accounts or banned tools can also affect your access and prizes. [1] [2]
An offer may add its own rules. Read those before you claim it.
Check Again When Something Changes
Once we confirmed our position, checked the conditions, and plotted an open approach, the familiar beacon became useful again. It showed us the destination, exactly the job it was meant to do.
A move, trip, birthday, or account update is a good reason to check your eligibility again. Confirm your age, home address, current location, and account details. Then read the rules for the offer you want to use.
No purchase is needed, and a purchase does not improve your chances. Free entry still has these player rules. Our mail entry guide covers one free method. Our prize request guide explains the later checks. [1]
One green light can answer one question. A safe route depends on checking them all.
