Social Casino Events and Competitions Explained
By Gigi Celeste Events & Competitions

Quick Answers
- Each event has its own rules for entry, scores, dates, ties, and rewards. Read them before joining.
- A live leaderboard can change before results are final. Check when scores update and how winners are confirmed.
- An event score does not predict a game result. Keep your own time and coin limits, even when your rank changes.
From Gigi’s Preflight Notes
The Board Kept Going After I Landed
At an Aurelia flight exercise, the crew rankings shifted all day. We finished our route, landed, and agreed we were done. Then another crew moved ahead of us. I was halfway through a very enthusiastic case for taking off again before anyone had asked for one.
Wren asked, “Did the flight plan change, or only the board?” Only the board. Our work was complete; my competitive streak had simply found a bright display to argue with.
An event works the same way. Its clock and scoreboard may keep moving, but you still decide when your session is finished.
Find the Event’s Main Rule
Events can work in different ways. A leaderboard ranks scores. A milestone event checks whether you completed a set task. A contest may judge submitted entries. Some events only count activity in certain games.
Visit our Promotions page to see the offers and their rules. These are examples of event types; they may not all be offered now. [1]
Before joining, make sure you can say what the event counts and how. If you cannot, ask Mission Control, our support team. Our guide to promotion rules can help you find the key points.
Check Who Can Enter and How
Use your own account and correct details. We allow one account per person. Do not share it or work with others in ways our rules forbid. [2]
For sweepstakes play, you must be at least 18, or older if your local legal adult age is higher. You must meet our U.S. location rules too.
Read any extra event rules for accounts, games, coin mode, and entry limits. Find the step that enters you and how entry is confirmed. Opening the page may not be enough. Once entered, activity in the wrong game or mode may still not count.
Learn How the Score Adds Up
One event may use your highest result. Another may add points from several results. Those rules can rank the same activity differently.
| Player | Results that count | Highest result | Added results |
|---|---|---|---|
| A | 7 and 4 | 7 | 11 |
| B | 10 | 10 | 10 |
B leads when only the highest result counts. A leads when the results are added. This is a teaching example, not an actual Win Bonanza event rule.
Check any minimum score, entry cap, rounding rule, and rule for interrupted activity. Do not guess the formula by watching the board.

Read the Clock, Then Keep Your Own
Check the start and end dates, times, and time zone. The deadline to join may differ from the deadline for activity to count.
If an action happens near closing time, find whether the event counts when it starts, ends, or is recorded. Opening a game early does not mean all later rounds count.
Your session can end before the event does. If the schedule does not fit your day, you can skip it. A countdown does not ask you to hurry.
Gigi’s Field Note
One Board, One Finished Flight
I stayed to watch the rankings after we agreed our crew was done. I cheered one update, frowned at the next, and kept both hands away from the controls. The board was reporting the event. It was not assigning us another flight.
You can enjoy following an event without changing the stop time you chose. A new rank is an update, not an instruction.
A Live Rank May Not Be Final
Some boards update right away. Others update later or in batches. Scores may also need checks. Read the event’s update rules before treating the shown order as final.
Keep four things separate: your score, your rank, the last update time, and the confirmed result. A screenshot records what you saw at that moment.
Also read how ties are settled. Equal scores on screen may hide rounded values or checks still in progress. Use this event’s tie rule, not one you remember from another.
Where to Find the Result
We email competition winners. Results may also appear on our official social pages. Check the event’s instructions, your registered inbox, and your spam folder. [3]
If the event points to our Winners page, use that official page. Read any deadline to reply or claim. A final rank, a winner email, and a required response may be separate steps.
If a prize message seems odd, open Win Bonanza yourself and ask Mission Control to check it. Never send a password or security code in reply.
Follow an Event to the Final Result
-
Check Entry
Read who can join, how to join, the included games, coin mode, and start and end times.
-
Check Scoring
Read how scores are worked out and updated, what does not count, and how ties are handled.
-
Check the Final Result
Follow any final checks, read the official notice, and reply if the rules require it.
Keep your own stop time, even if the event is still running.
If Your Score Looks Wrong
Compare it with the scoring rule, allowed games, coin mode, time window, and update schedule. Save the event name and link, activity time and time zone, shown score, and a screenshot. Include a round reference if you have one.
Contact Mission Control through our support portal or [email protected]. Explain which part seems wrong. A change after closing may come from the final checks listed in the rules.
A Score Is Not a Game Forecast
An event counts activity under its own rules. Each game produces results under its game rules. A lower rank does not make a win or feature due.
Our guide to RTP and other game numbers explains why those numbers cannot predict a session either. If the board makes your limits hard to keep, close it or use our Player Safety resources for a longer break.
A Finished Flight Can Stay Finished
The board kept changing after we left, exactly as a scoreboard should. Our finished flight remained finished. Before joining an event, read the entry, score, clock, tie, and result rules. Choose your own stop point too, and when you reach it, let the scoreboard carry on without you.
Your Next Step
Check how an event works and whether it fits your plans.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do all social casino events use the same scoring rules?
-
No. Each event sets its own entry steps, scoring, dates, ties and rewards. Read that event’s full rules before joining.
- Is a live leaderboard position a final result?
-
Not always. Scores may update or need checks before the result is final. Read when the board updates and how winners are confirmed.
- Does my event score predict my next game result?
-
No. An event score records activity under the event rules. It does not predict the next game result or make a win due.
- What should I do if my event score looks wrong?
-
Save the event name, time, score shown and useful screenshots or round references. Check the rules and contact support through the official route.
